about

Butterfly/Rights of Man/Morrisons
The Butterfly is attributed by some to the Irish fiddler Tommy Potts, who recorded it on his album “The Liffey Banks” in 1971. Rights of Man is thought of as a traditional Irish horn pipe, but some say it is an American tune from around 1789 at the time of the Bill of Rights. Morrisons is a jig in E minor that we like Elizabeth to play, especially in the lower octave of the Hammered Dulcimer.
